Behind the Work
“Of the photographs in the “Reflective” series, a series that studies the personal relationships between one another, I consider this photograph as one of the most enigmatic and intimate. I like the fact that we can’t discern which part of the body it is or who the body parts belong to. By doing so, I am looking to show love from another perspective, an angle where it doesn’t have to have a gender or predisposed sexuality. I was looking for texture, the sort of tough and sensual story one’s skin so truthfully tells.”
