Behind the Work
“Our Taverna fabric is made using a mono printing technique. We draw onto wooden blocks covered in a thick layer of ink in order to produce these textured, gestural drawings. This design began its life as a way of documenting the amazing range of shapes and styles of the ceramic pots, urns and amphoras in the British Museum. Its rustic charm, I think, mirrors the cracked, pieced-together artifacts on display. We hand screen print each cushion using water-based inks onto linen in our studio and then hand finish each cushion with a box trim and contrasting zip.”

- 100% heavyweight linen with contrasting zip finish, filled with feather cushion pad.
- Care: Hand wash gently with a mild detergent or dry clean. Iron on the reverse only.
