Behind the Work
“This design was inspired by a wonderful life drawing teacher from the Royal College of Art in London. During these classes we would work on a grid, drawing a pose every 10-30 seconds. This intense way of working meant that each line had to be able to evoke as much as possible. This exercise in distilling a complex image was fascinating and is something which still inspires our work today.”

“This design was inspired by the Museum of London's collection of carved stone loom weights; imperfect rings which were hung from the warp to create tension on weaving looms throughout London's history. As I walked around the museum, these small circular stones kept appearing and I liked their simple usefulness and how each one was slightly different in its wonkyness. Circul is created using mono printing techniques to create a series of imperfect, handmade circles reminiscent of these found objects. We hand screen print each cushion using water based inks onto soft, navy linen in our Thames side studios and each cushion is finished by us, by hand.”

- 100% heavyweight linen with contrasting zip finish, filled with feather cushion pad.
- Care: Hand wash gently with a mild detergent or dry clean. Iron on the reverse only.
