Behind the Work
"Menhirs (tall, upright standing stones) were colossal structures that I visited frequently growing up in Brittany, France. This drawing is a "clin d'oeil" into my childhood, which reminds me of my family and my home. I incorporated vivid colours into the artwork to reflect my own unique perception of the menhirs today, giving them a renewed life and sense of meaning."
